If you’d like to join the Institute, please headline your e-mail NEW MEMBER
and give us the following information about yourself:
The town and state where you live
Your sector of professional activity (eg “widget manufacturing”)
Your interests in a few sentences, including your current job title and
organization, if any, and an indication of what you did before you assumed
your current position
Any professional organizations to which you belong
Your education (degrees or other credentials and where you obtained them)
Your website address, if any
Your e-mail address
Except for members’ e-mail addresses, which we request only so we can e-mail members from time to time to alert them to any news that we think might interest them, we publish (in an edited form as we consider suitable) all information that members supply about themselves, unless they expressly ask us not to publish something. So unless you include such a “please don’t publish the following” request, we’ll regard everything you send us, except for your e-mail address, as submitted for publication.
Although we like — very much! — to hear from people wanting to become members, legal considerations compel us to note that we reserve the right to decline, without giving any reason, any request to join the Aris Institute.
Generally we don’t respond to a membership request unless we have a question or want to communicate with you for some other reason. Barring any such issues, we’ll just post your information on our website site and welcome you publicly as a new member the next time we update the site after receiving your membership information!
If you write to us for any reason other than to join, please allow at least two weeks for us to get back to you. Whatever your reason for writing, please note that we assume all correspondents have read and accepted the terms and conditions of our site, set out below. Thanks, and we appreciate your interest in the Aris Institute!
